Family-run

Founded by brothers John, Thomas and William Loake in 1880, Loake Shoemakers is still going strong, now headed by the 5^th generation of the family. Starting from humble origins in an outbuilding at Thomas’s home, the company eventually moved down the road into a factory on Wood Street in Kettering, Northamptonshire. They can still be found here over 100 years later, right in the heart of the English shoemaking region.

Award-winning

Loake Shoemakers are a multi-award-winning company, with accolades including Men’s Footwear Brand of the Year and Men’s Brand of the Year. As if that weren’t enough of a sign of their quality, Loake shoes and Loake boots won the company a Royal Stamp of Approval in 2007. This honour is bestowed on those who have regularly provided goods and services to the Queen, the late Duke of Edinburgh or the Prince of Wales, and their households. The badge is still held by Loake to this day.

Though originally known as a brand for more formal and professional shoe design, Loake has developed into a name for all-occasion shoes. Forever smart and stylish, their delectable shoes and boots can be worn with suits and jeans alike.
